Alex is a native of Fairfield county and grew up in Westport, CT. Growing up she spent her free time pouring over YouTube tutorials of anything and everything aesthetic-related. She always took pride in being the go-to for all of her friends whenever they felt they needed advice on skin care products or help getting ready for a night out. Alex took her love of skincare cosmetics to New York City where she attended and graduated from Christine Valmy School of Esthetics with flying colors.
The most enjoyable part of her work is forming connections with clients. She loves meeting new people and hearing their stories. Alex finds her job very rewarding because she gets to make clients feel more confident in their own skin.
One of Alex’s extra special talents is her patience with the younger clients. She understands their apprehension and is very respectful of their sheepishness.
Ginna joined our team at The Waxing spot, in June 2020 where she has grown tremendously with us. Since she was a child, growing up in Roldanillo, Colombia, she has always had a passion for beauty. She started out with nails but wanted to work more with skin, as she found skin play’s such an essential role in beauty. She then made her way to the US to study and gain more knowledge in the beauty industry, and to her success, she received her esthetician license at Cortiva Institute in Linthicum, Maryland. After graduating, she decided to relocate to Connecticut to raise her son and found “The Waxing Spot”. Falling in love with the work we do here, she decided to apply and was given the training and support she needed to enhance her skills. Through her training with Veri and Rosemery, she discovered a hidden talent and passion for brows and body waxing. She says that working with all the talented women here at, “The Waxing Spot”, has been such a heartwarming experience and feels that working with us has helped her discover more of herself. In Ginna’s spare time, she enjoys: being with her family, taking her son out on adventures and traveling.
Sully has played an integral role here with us at the Waxing Spot since 2017. She started out as our front desk receptionist, greeting clients and ensuring a positive experience for all when walking into our salon. With inspiration for what we do here at The Waxing Spot, Sully decided she wanted to play a bigger role and become a waxer and learn the art of Eyebrow design and Body waxing. Receiving her esthetician’s license from New York school of Esthetics, she began her training with Veri and Rosemery to build a foundation as a waxer. She loves connecting with her clients and creates a wonderful experience for all those who walk into The Waxing Spot. Sully loves making people feel good and ensuring everyone leaves with a smile on their face. In her spare time, Sully loves to travel, try new restaurants, and spend time with her cats and boyfriend. We are happy to have Sully on our team.
Samantha is originally from Brazil and moved to the US in 2022.
Ever since she was a child she felt passionate about beauty and later its industry. As she got older she had a dream of working with beauty and in 2019 she concluded her first intensive class on makeup, eyebrow design and waxing.
Shortly after concluding her initial course she knew that her passion aligned with brow design. To perfect her craft she decided to take advanced courses with some of the biggest artists in Brazil like Anna Webber, Andre Mossa and Fran Rocha.
Integrating all her formal knowledge she joined The Waxing Spot to further refine her skills with Rosemery and Veri on an intensive 6 months training.
She feels that way she is able to offer a unique approach to each client catering to their specific needs. Samantha is a perfectionist at heart and is always looking to improve her craft to best serve her clientele.
Samantha enjoys trying out new cuisines and spending quality time with family.
Yanery was born in El Salvador, then moved to the United States in 2008. She has had a passion for beauty ever since she was a little girl, often getting caught going through her mothers makeup and playing with it. Yanery attended a Technical High School where she focused on cosmetology. During that process, she realized her preference for waxing, skin care, & makeup, over hair care. She then put herself through beauty school to gain more knowledge about the field, obtain her CT esthetician license, and be able to do what she’s most passionate about.

Leunita’s biggest passion is to make people look and feel beautiful as well as confident. She graduated from The New York School of Esthetics in February of 2023. After graduating high school Leunita worked at Bloomingdale’s cosmetic department; It was there that she got to work with all different self care brands which sparked her love and interest in the beauty industry and inspired her to further her education in Esthetics. Straight out of school she began to familiarize herself with all services that Esthetics has to offer. Growing up Leunita’s mom was a waxer so when offered this amazing opportunity to work for The Waxing Spot and grow with a successful business it felt like she was exactly where she belongs, following in her mom’s footsteps.
Bianca, also known as Ruelys, comes from a long line of beauty enthusiasts. She was first introduced to the industry at her family’s barbershop, where she realized she had a natural eye for the arts.
In 2016, she studied cosmetology in San Antonio, TX, where she discovered her passion for brow and lash artistry, along with waxing.
Dedicated to her craft, Bianca continued refining her skills through hands-on experience, and advanced trainings, including a lash extension course in 2019.
With years of experience and a strong commitment to growth, Bianca later enrolled at Paul Mitchell, where she earned her esthetics license with high academic achievements—and now brings her talent and creativity to The Waxing Spot.
My love for beauty began at a young age in Zambia, Africa, inspired by watching my mother’s beauty routines and dreaming of one day helping others feel confident in their skin. That passion led me around the world from Spain to Sweden to Brazil to New York, where I became a licensed esthetician through the Long Island Nail and Skincare Institute.
Now based in Connecticut, I proudly work at The Waxing Spot, where I was drawn to the talent, professionalism and, and elevated standards of the team. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, which allows me to bring an added level of care, precision, and attention to skin health into every service.
In my free time, I enjoy learning about different cultures and languages. I strive to create a welcoming experience where clients feel comfortable, heard, and confident in the services they are receiving.
